As a global foundation that practically addresses the issue of social injustice and climate change, we work with global partners and local companies and communities to decarbonize Africa through green development and real estate transformation towards the net-zero emission target.
Our approach aligns with the United Nations' Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) nos. 1, 2, 11, and 13. Our green development model blends green cities and agroforestry to produce sustainable liquidity, efficiency, and transparency in real estate investment, leveraging blockchain technology.
Green City Africa, in collaboration with Port Harcourt Green Enclave Limited (or PH Green), is building its flagship project, Port Harcourt Green City (PH Green City)which will be a model for greener and safer communities for sustainable urban development across Africa.
The project has been approved by the Federal Ministry of Environment as the first real estate carbon project in Nigeria, strategically located in Rivers State to support the global decarbonization campaign and Federal Government's efforts towards meeting its ambitious climate targets as contained in the updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC).
Green City Africa is also collaborating with traditional institutions, professional groups, market associations, high-net-worth individuals as well as national and subnational governments to build the largest green ecosystem in Africa, ensuring mass participation in its various green development projects for effective and result-oriented decarbonization campaign. Our Green Value Model, which has received global endorsements and awards, is designed to transform real estate for sustainable liquidity, efficiency and transparency, leveraging global carbon markets and blockchain technology. Finally, our climate advocacy campaign tagged “Make Earth Green Again Campaign or MEGA”, encompasses the major aspects of the project including economic tree planting, renewable energy, green waste management, green transportation, green concrete, decentralized finance (DeFi), and energy-efficient buildings.
